PhD School "International Forestry and Global Issues" (IFGI) 2014

From May 19 to 23, 2014, the PhD School "International Forestry and Global Issues" took place in Champenoux. This event was organized by EFICENT-OEF, INRA, AgroParisTech, RP2E doctoral school, and the University of Lorraine, bringing together 25 participants, including teachers and young researchers from diverse backgrounds, spanning from France to Australia and Iran.

For five days, participants engaged in a series of presentations, plenary discussions, working groups, and roundtables. The focus was on various aspects of forestry and its global issues. This third edition of the event was marked by its success in fostering science, sharing knowledge, and building a friendly, collaborative environment.

As part of the training, J. Marsaud from the Federation "France, Nature and Environment" was invited to present a conference on May 22, titled "Position and Role of an Environmental NGO in the Forest Science-Policy Interface." This conference provided valuable insights into the intersection of environmental activism and forestry science.
